THE FAMILIES.
As a society, we ask the most of young families when they have the least to give. They are exhausted, adjusting to their new family dynamics and have all sorts of new financial burdens. We want to offer this high quality care for our youngest and most absorbent students for the lowest tuition for our community. However, tuition dollars are 86% of our total 2023 funding.
MONTANA BUSINESSES
Inadequate child care costs MT businesses nearly $55M per year.
When parents feel secure with their child’s care, they are able to focus at work and provide better input into their company.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS
In order to provide quality care, we must pay sustainable wages to have long term, high quality teachers.
Childcare businesses are failing because wages aren’t keeping up with inflation.
We struggle to pay on average $20/hr. There is little to keep them from going to Dairy Queen, except the love of the children.
